# Dropify and Shopify: what is supported

Dropify is not an app you install inside a Shopify store — there is no Dropify listing in the Shopify App Store, so there's no Shopify-side install or OAuth flow to fix. What Dropify does support is importing individual products *from* a Shopify store's product page into your own Dropify catalog by pasting its URL.

## Steps

1. In your Dropify dashboard, go to **Apps → Importify** (or **Products → Import**).
2. Paste the product page URL from the Shopify store you want to copy a listing from.
3. Dropify fetches the title, description, images, and price so you can review them before adding the product to your catalog.
4. This only copies product data into Dropify — it doesn't connect, sync, or install anything on the original Shopify store, and nothing is installed back onto Shopify.

## Common problems

- 404 "page not found" when trying to install Dropify from a Shopify app-authentication URL → this URL isn't part of a supported Dropify flow; there's no Dropify app in the Shopify App Store to install. (19dbbf000c1962d4, 19dbbee97dba3c15)
- OAuth reinstall ends in a 404, asking Dropify to reset an OAuth token/session → Dropify doesn't hold an OAuth session for a Shopify-side app, so there's nothing to reset on that end; this is likely confusion with another app, or with importing products from a Shopify store as described above. - Blank screen when opening "the app" from a Shopify apps panel → not a known Dropify surface; reinstalling or re-logging in on the Shopify side won't resolve it since Dropify isn't hosted there. (19dbe3796babb451)
- Want to move an entire Shopify store's catalog into Dropify → import products one at a time by URL as above; there's no bulk store-to-store migration tool currently.
