# Automatically send a WhatsApp message when an order comes in

The **WhatsApp AI Agent** app includes an **Order Confirmation Agent** that automatically messages a customer on WhatsApp to confirm their order as soon as it's placed — separate from a WhatsApp contact button on your landing page.

## Steps

1. Go to **Apps** and install/open **WhatsApp AI Agent**.
2. Connect your WhatsApp Business number and configure the agent's behavior and tone in its general settings.
3. Open the **Order Confirmation Agent** and turn it on — this sends the automatic message confirming order details right after checkout.
4. Under its **Template Assignment** tab, review which message template is sent per language, and adjust reminder/schedule settings if needed.

## Common problems

- Only had a WhatsApp contact button on the landing page and wanted an automatic message sent on every new order instead → that's a separate feature; install WhatsApp AI Agent and turn on the Order Confirmation Agent rather than relying on the contact button.
