# How to build a landing page from scratch

Go to **Landing Pages → Add Landing Page** and choose **Blank landing page** to start with an empty canvas, then add sections one at a time with the **+** (Add Blocks) button.

## Steps

1. From the sidebar, open **Landing Pages** (Funnels) and click **Add Landing Page**.
2. Pick **Blank landing page** to start empty, or **Select a template** to start from one of the pre-built designs — either way you'll pick the product the page is for.
3. Inside the builder, click the **+** icon that appears when you hover or click a section to open the block panel, and add sections in the order you want them: header, hero image, product description, collections/product list, countdown timer, before/after, video, reviews, FAQ, footer, SEO.
4. Click any element on the page to open its settings and style panel on the side and edit its text, image, colors, and layout.
5. Switch the builder to mobile preview before you finish — most visitors open the page from a phone, and a layout that looks right on desktop can be broken on mobile.
6. Click **Publish** (top bar) when you're ready to go live.

## Common problems

- The builder looks unfamiliar, like the full store builder → the landing page builder and store builder now share the same editing interface; click any element and use the **+/-** icon below it to add, remove, or reorder blocks.
- You need a product before you can start → Dropify doesn't supply or source products for you. Add your own product (with at least a name and image) first, then build the page for it.
- Building entirely from scratch feels too complex → start from a ready-made template instead and customize the text/images/colors, which is faster than assembling every section yourself.
- Looking for someone to build the page for you → a manual, done-for-you landing page creation service is no longer offered; use the blank/template builder yourself or generate a first draft with AI (see the AI landing page article) and then edit it.
