# How do I create an upsell offer with Upsell Booster?

Upsell Booster shows a one-click additional offer to a customer right after they buy, to increase your average order value.

## Steps

1. Open **Upsell Booster** from Apps and click **Create New Upsell** (you need at least one product created first).
2. Under **Upsell Details**, set the **Upsell Name** and choose the **Product** it's associated with.
3. Optionally enable **Countdown Settings** — ending time, colors, and labels for days/hours/minutes/seconds — to add urgency.
4. Write the **Upsell Page Content** and configure **Confirm Button Settings** and **Cancel Button Settings** for the accept/decline buttons.
5. Turn on **Variant Matching** if the upsell should only appear when the customer's purchased variant matches the upsell product's available variants, or **Show product variants** to let customers pick a variant on the upsell page itself.
6. Save, then go to the product page or landing page settings for the triggering product to actually attach this upsell — an upsell only appears if it's selected there.
7. Manage upsells from the list: filter by product/status, and **Enable**, **Disable**, **Duplicate**, or **Delete** them.

## Common problems

- Upsell Booster shows no products to choose from → you need at least one product created in your store first; also try clearing browser cookies/cache or a different browser if the list still looks empty after that.
- Upsell doesn't appear before the thank-you page → double-check it was actually selected in both the product page settings and the landing page settings for that product — an upsell created here doesn't attach automatically.
- Customer can't choose a quantity on the upsell → Upsell Booster always adds a single unit; if you need quantity selection, add quantity options as offers on the product itself instead.
- Upsell item isn't reaching my COD partner as a separate line item → add the upsell product's own SKU in its Product Settings so both items sync correctly.
