# Dropify app not working, stuck on splash screen, or won't log in

If the Dropify mobile app won't open, gets stuck on the loading/splash screen, shows a black screen, or blocks you from logging in, this is usually caused by running an app version that's behind the current platform — Dropify actively ships app updates, so check for one first.

## Steps

1. Check the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) for a Dropify app update and install it if available — Dropify's app is updated regularly, so a fresh install often resolves this.
2. If you're already on the latest available version and still see the issue, reinstalling or clearing the app's data is unlikely to help if the root cause is app/platform compatibility; contact support with your app version and device type instead.
3. In the meantime, log into your store's dashboard from a browser (desktop or mobile browser) to manage orders, products, and check your stats.
4. After updating, log in again with your usual credentials.

## Common problems

- App stuck on the logo/splash screen, never reaches login → update to the latest app version first; if it persists after updating, use the browser dashboard and contact support.
- App won't accept login credentials → check for an app update first; if already up to date, this isn't a wrong-password issue — contact support.
- App notifications have stopped arriving → also usually tied to an outdated app version; update and check again.
- App asks for a password you don't remember setting → you may not have a mobile-app account yet; register at your dashboard's registration page using your store email, then log in.
