# How do I translate my store into other languages with Transify?

Transify translates your store's products, pages, and other content into other languages — useful because most themes only ship with a couple of built-in languages by default.

## Steps

1. First, add the language(s) you want under **Store Settings → Languages** — Transify needs at least one translation language added before it can translate anything (if none are added, it prompts you to **Go to Language Settings**).
2. Open **Transify** from Apps and go to **Content**.
3. Select a module to translate: **Products**, **Collections**, **Reviews**, **Pages**, **Menus**, **Upsell booster**, **Blog Posts**, **Blog Categories**, **Theme Settings**, **Checkout form**, or **Store Settings**.
4. Pick an item (e.g. a specific product) to see its **Original content** next to fields for **Translated content** (name, description, short description, variants, etc.).
5. Enter the translation and click **Save Translation**.
6. Use **View Store** to check how the translated content looks live.

## Common problems

- Store still shows only the theme's default languages (e.g. Arabic/English) after picking a new one → the theme's built-in text only covers its default languages; anything beyond that needs to be translated manually per section through a multi-language app like Transify — adding the language alone doesn't auto-translate existing content.
- "You need to add translation languages first" message → go to **Store Settings → Languages**, add the language, then return to Transify.
- Some content still isn't translated → check you covered every relevant module (Products, Pages, Theme Settings, Checkout form, etc.) — each is translated separately, so missing one module leaves that content in the original language.
- Checkout field labels (like Name/Phone/City) are in the wrong language on a specific landing page → those labels can also be edited directly on that field's Settings tab in the page builder, separate from Transify's Checkout form module.
