# Product images won't upload, don't save, or don't display

If a product won't save or its images won't upload, the most common cause is an oversized image file — compress it before uploading rather than waiting on a large original.

## Steps

1. Compress your product images before uploading (a few hundred KB is generally safe) rather than uploading large originals straight from a camera or supplier site.
2. If a product won't save at all, check each image you attached for its file size — one oversized image can block the whole save.
3. If images aren't showing on the live product page after upload, remove them from the product and re-add them.
4. Center or align images inside the product description editor exactly as you want them to appear — formatting there generally carries through to the published page.
5. For digital products with large files (e.g. audio, video), see the note below on the file-size limit.

## Common problems

- Product won't save and shows a generic error → one of the uploaded images is likely over the size limit; remove/compress it and try again.
- Images uploaded fine but don't appear on the live product page → delete them from the product and re-upload.
- Selling a digital file larger than the platform's upload limit → the digital-product file limit is currently fixed and can't be raised per account; as a workaround, host the file on Google Drive or Dropbox, put the download link inside a PDF, and sell the PDF instead (you can restrict Drive access to specific customer emails for extra protection).
- Image looks centered in the editor but appears off-center once published → re-check alignment in the editor and confirm you selected the image/paragraph element itself, not its container block.
