# How do I connect Ameex to send orders for delivery?

Connect your Ameex account from **Apps > Ameex** using your API ID and API Key so orders can be sent to Ameex for delivery and COD collection.

## Steps

1. Go to **Apps > Ameex**. If you don't have an Ameex account yet, click **Create New Account** to sign up on ameex.com first.
2. Click **Connect Account**.
3. Enter your **API ID** and **API Key** — you'll find both in your Ameex dashboard under **Settings > API Integration**.
4. Click **Connect Account** to save.
5. Once connected, you can send eligible orders to Ameex for delivery from the order; Ameex creates the parcel using the customer's name, phone, address, city, order note, and the cash-on-delivery amount.

To stop using Ameex, open the app page and click **Disconnect Account**, then confirm — this stops any further orders from being sent automatically.

## Common problems

- "The provided Ameex credentials are incorrect" → re-check the API ID and API Key against your Ameex dashboard; re-enter them and reconnect.
- "Ameex is not configured correctly" when sending an order → the app isn't connected yet, or the connection was lost; reconnect from the app page.
- Wrong or unmatched delivery city → Ameex automatically matches the order's city name to its own list of serviceable cities; unusual spellings or abbreviations can fail to match closely enough, so make sure the customer's city is spelled clearly and consistently.
- "Something went wrong" after sending an order → this is usually a temporary issue on Ameex's side; wait and retry sending the order.
- Country coverage → Ameex operates in Morocco; Dropify reformats the customer's phone number to a local Moroccan format before sending it.
