# How do I invite staff and set their permissions?

Invite team members and control exactly which apps and permissions each one can access from **Store Settings → Users and Permissions**.

## Steps

1. Go to **Store Settings → Users and Permissions**.
2. Click **Add team member** (or **Invite your first team member** if the list is empty).
3. Enter their **First name**, **Last name**, and **Email address** — the email can't be changed after the account is created.
4. Choose which **apps** they can access and which **permissions** they have; use **Select all**/**Deselect all** to speed this up, and the counters ("{count} of {total} permissions selected") show how much access you're granting.
5. Send the invitation. The team member gets a link to set up their own login.
6. To change someone's access later, use **Edit team member**; to remove them, use **Delete User** (this asks for confirmation and can't be undone).

## Common problems

- Invitation email never arrives → check the email address was typed correctly (it can't be edited after creation, so a typo means recreating the invite); also check spam folders. If invites consistently fail to send, try again after a few minutes — this can be a temporary sync issue.
- "Staff Member Limit Reached" when adding someone → your plan includes a limited number of staff; you can pay 300 Coins to add the extra member (charged monthly and shown in your billing history) or buy more coins first.
- New staff member can't see a section they need → recheck their granted apps/permissions in **Edit team member**; access is only what was explicitly selected, nothing is granted by default beyond what you pick.
- Accidentally removed the wrong person → there's no restore; you'll need to send them a new invitation.
