# How do I block or restrict which countries can order from my store?

Country Blocker lets you either block specific countries from accessing/ordering on your store, or restrict your store to only a chosen set of allowed countries.

## Steps

1. Open **Country Blocker** from Apps.
2. Under **App Settings**, use **Blocked Countries** to select countries whose visitors should not be able to access or purchase from your store — or use **Allowed Countries** to restrict access to only those countries.
3. You can select up to 250 countries in a list.
4. Click **Save Changes**.

## Common problems

- Save fails with a country-count error → you're over the 250-country limit for one list; trim the selection.
- A visitor from a supposedly blocked country can still order → double-check you saved after selecting the countries (an unsaved selection has no effect), and that you used the correct list — Blocked vs Allowed work oppositely, so mixing them up will produce the reverse of what you intended.
- Legitimate customers from an allowed country can't check out → if you're using **Allowed Countries**, only countries on that list can purchase at all; add the missing country to the allowed list.
