# How do I edit my store's privacy policy and terms of service?

**Store Settings → Legal pages** is where you write or generate your store's Return and Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and Shipping Policy.

## Steps

1. Go to **Store Settings → Legal pages**.
2. Select the page you want to edit: **Return and Refund Policy**, **Privacy policy**, **Terms of service**, or **Shipping policy**.
3. Enter the **Page content** in the editor (each page type has its own placeholder text to guide you).
4. You can generate content automatically for a page with AI instead of writing it from scratch.
5. Click **Save All changes** once you're done editing any of the pages.

## Common problems

- Save button shows a validation error → content can't be empty; make sure every page you're editing has text before saving, and that the page name (if custom) isn't over 255 characters.
- AI-generated content doesn't match my business specifics → treat it as a starting draft and edit the generated text with your actual policies (returns window, shipping carriers, etc.) before publishing.
- Changes don't appear on the live storefront → confirm you clicked **Save All changes**; edits in the text boxes aren't saved automatically.
