# How do I add a delivery address map to checkout?

Map Localizer adds Google Maps to your store and landing pages so customers can pin their exact delivery location, and it can help local SEO too.

## Steps

1. Open **Map Localizer** from Apps and click **Connect Map Localizer**.
2. Enter your **Google Maps API Key**.
3. Choose **Display On**: Store Only, Landing pages Only, or Both Store and Landing pages.
4. Save. You can revisit **Map Localizer Settings → Edit Settings** any time to change the API key or display location.

## Common problems

- "Failed to connect Map Localizer" → the API key is likely invalid or missing the required Google Maps permissions; generate a new key in your Google Cloud console with Maps JavaScript API enabled and try again.
- Map doesn't appear at checkout/on landing pages → check **Display On** matches where you expect it (Store vs Landing pages vs Both).
- Map loads blank or shows an error overlay → this is usually a Google-side quota or billing issue on the API key; check your Google Cloud project's billing and API usage limits.
