How to scan an ad for policy compliance with Ad Guard
Ad Guard pre-checks your ad's compliance before you run it on Meta, TikTok, or Snapchat. Results are preliminary and indicative only — Dropify doesn't guarantee platform approval or take responsibility for account suspensions.
Steps
- Go to the Ad Guard app and choose a tab: Video (upload images/videos), Copywriting (ad name, headline, description), or Landing Page (a Dropify landing page or a custom URL, with an optional screenshot).
- Select the platforms to check against: Meta, Snapchat, and/or TikTok.
- Select Submit scan and confirm the cost: 30 coins for a text-only scan, 100 coins for a scan that includes media. There are no free trials for this feature.
- Track the scan under Pending, Processing, Completed, or Failed, and review past scans in Scan History.
- Open a completed scan to see each finding — policy area, severity (Low, Medium, High, or Critical), evidence, and a recommendation — and select Rerun after making changes.
Common problems
- Scan comes back "Failed"resubmit; if it keeps failing, try scanning a smaller media file or the copy and landing page separately.
- A finding feels too strict or inaccuratetreat results as a preliminary check, not a guarantee — you can still choose to run the ad; use the recommendation as guidance only.
- Not sure why an ad was flaggedopen the finding for its policy area, severity, and evidence; common triggers include misleading or urgency language, prohibited products, health or financial claims, and IP or privacy issues.
- Ad still got rejected or an account got flagged on the platform after a passing scanAd Guard is indicative only; the ad platform makes the final decision, and Dropify isn't responsible for suspensions.
