How to set a landing page as your store's home page
Connect your domain directly inside that landing page's own settings (not as your store's primary domain) — visitors to that domain then land on the page instead of your store's default home page.
Steps
- Open the landing page you want to use as your home page, and go to its settings.
- Connect your custom domain there, in the landing page's own domain field — not under the store's general/primary domain setting.
- Make sure this domain is not also set as the primary domain in your store settings, or the store's normal home page will take priority instead.
- Save and test by visiting the domain directly; it should open the landing page.
- If you specifically need the root domain (e.g.
yourstore.com) to redirect to the landing page while keeping the domain as your store's primary domain, add a small redirect script in Theme Settings → Custom Code → Custom code within head, pointing to your landing page's URL — contact support if you'd like help with this snippet.
Common problems
- Set a domain on the landing page and now it replaced your store entirely at that domainthis is expected once a domain is assigned specifically to a landing page; leave the domain field on the landing page as None if you don't want that behavior, and keep using the domain on your store settings instead.
- Can't find a direct "Set as Home Page" toggle on the landing page itselfuse the domain-connection method above; there is no separate one-click switch for this.
- Want only the landing page visible with no store/products showing at allthe landing page already has its own dedicated link and can be shared/advertised directly without ever exposing your store or product pages.
