Google Sheets integration stopped working after updating to V4
Google Sheets connections made with the old manual method (your own Google Cloud Client ID/Secret) can stop syncing after the V4 update — reconnect using the newer one-click Auto Connect method instead.
Steps
- Go to Apps → Google Sheets.
- If it still shows "You are connected to: [email]" but data has stopped updating, click Disconnect Google Sheets first to clear the old connection.
- Click Auto Connect and sign in with the Google account you want to use — this replaces the old Client ID/Secret setup, which is no longer the supported way to connect.
- Re-open each existing sheet from the sheets list and confirm its columns and product selection are still correct; if a sheet looks broken or empty, delete it and create a new one instead of trying to fix it.
Common problems
- Product names or other fields stopped updating after the V4 update, even though the app still shows as connecteddisconnect and reconnect using Auto Connect (steps 2-3); the old Client ID/Secret connection isn't reliable after the update.
- Reconnected with Auto Connect but orders still aren't syncinggive it a few minutes after reconnecting, then re-open the sheet from your sheets list to confirm it's syncing; if orders still do not appear after reconnecting, open a support ticket from your dashboard.
