Orders aren't reaching my Google Sheet, or old ones duplicate

If new orders aren't landing in your connected Google Sheet, or old orders keep reappearing as duplicates, the sheet's setup or a manual edit is usually the cause — not the checkout itself.

Steps

  1. Go to Apps → Google Sheets and confirm the sheet still appears under your connected account. A sheet that was deleted, renamed, or moved in Google Drive will silently stop receiving data.
  2. Open the sheet with Edit sheet and check its Scope (all products, specific products, landing pages, or collections) — an order for a product outside that scope is never sent.
  3. Avoid manually editing rows, column headers, or sort order directly inside the Google Sheet itself; manual edits are the most common cause of both missing new rows and old rows duplicating.
  4. If orders are still missing after checking scope, disconnect and reconnect the specific sheet, or delete it and create a new one with Add new sheet.
