Klarna, iDEAL or other Stripe methods don't show at checkout
Dropify's Stripe integration currently only supports card payments. Even if you've turned on Klarna, iDEAL, or another local payment method inside your Stripe account, it will not appear as an option in your Dropify checkout.
Steps
- In your Stripe dashboard, enabling extra payment methods (Klarna, iDEAL, SOFORT, etc.) does not automatically add them to your Dropify checkout — there is no setting on the Dropify side to turn these on yet.
- If you need one of these methods for your customers, continue offering card payments through Stripe for now; there's no workaround to surface additional Stripe payment methods in the storefront.
- If this is important for your business, let support know which method and country you need it for — it helps prioritize what gets added next.
Common problems
- Card payments show fine but Klarna/iDEAL don'texpected with the current integration; only card is supported end-to-end.
- Payment method looks "active" in Stripeactivating it in Stripe controls what Stripe can process, not what Dropify displays; Dropify checkout only ever requests a card payment from Stripe today.
