Stripe is enabled but not showing at checkout
Enabling Stripe in your dashboard connects the gateway, but customers won't see it at checkout until you also add the Payment Methods block to your checkout page and turn Stripe on inside that block.
Steps
- Go to Store Settings → Payment Methods and click Connect Stripe Account (or Add Account if you already have one connected). You'll be redirected to Stripe to finish onboarding, then sent back to your dashboard.
- Open the page/funnel builder for your checkout page (landing page or product page), and from the block picker add the Payment Methods block to the checkout section if it isn't already there.
- Click the Payment Methods block to open its settings panel, find Stripe in the list, and switch it on. This toggle is separate from the one in Store Settings — both need to be on.
- Enable and reorder any other gateways (PayPal, COD, etc.) in the same panel, then save and republish the page.
Common problems
- Stripe shows as connected in Store Settings but still doesn't appear on the storefrontthe Payment Methods block is missing from the checkout section, or it's on the page but Stripe is switched off inside the block's own settings. Check both.
- "Sales aren't completing" even though Stripe is enabledalmost always the same missing-block issue above; add the block and re-test a purchase.
- Connecting Stripe doesn't recognize an account you already use elsewhereeach connection creates a fresh Stripe onboarding link, so you may need to enter your business details again rather than relying on Stripe's auto-fill.
- Only card payments come through Stripe today — Apple Pay and Google Pay are not yet available in Dropify checkout.
