My team invite link isn't working — how do I accept it?
When someone invites you as staff, you'll get a link with an invitation code — open it and fill in your details to create your login and join their store.
Steps
- Open the invitation link you were sent; it leads to a "You're invited to join our team" page.
- Your email may already be filled in and locked if the store owner set it when inviting you.
- Fill in your First name, Last name, Phone number, and choose a password.
- Click Join the team to create your account and accept the invitation.
- Once created, log in with that email and password — you'll land in the store you were invited to, with the permissions the owner assigned.
Common problems
- Page says the verification code is missingyou likely opened the link without its code parameter (e.g. it was copied partially, or the "code" part of the URL got cut off); ask the store owner to resend the invitation and open the full link they send, without editing it.
- Invite link takes you to create a brand-new store / asks you to pay, instead of joining the friend's storethis means the invitation code wasn't recognized; do not pay — ask the store owner to resend a fresh invitation from Users and Permissions, and open that new link directly rather than reusing an old one.
- Accepted the invite but the store doesn't show up when you log inmake sure you're logging in with the exact email the invitation was sent to; if you already had a separate Dropify account under a different email, the invite won't attach to it.
- Invitation seems accepted but you still can't see certain menusyour access is limited to what the store owner granted in Users and Permissions; ask them to check/update your permissions.
