How to show prices in your customer's local currency
Install and enable the Multi-Currency app (under Apps) — it automatically detects a visitor's country and displays prices in their local currency; it isn't a per-product or per-landing-page toggle you set manually.
Steps
- Go to Apps and install/open the Multi-Currency app.
- Review the exchange-rate table — this lists every currency the platform currently supports and its live conversion rate.
- Optionally set a custom display label per currency (e.g. how the currency symbol/name appears to customers).
- If you don't want converted prices to end in odd decimals, toggle Round converted prices to.99 to round them to a clean amount instead.
- Once enabled, prices convert automatically for visitors based on their detected country — there's no separate switch to turn on "automatic" detection beyond having the app enabled.
Common problems
- Enabled the app but a specific page still shows prices in your store's base currency instead of convertingconfirm the app is active and the currency you expected is listed in the exchange-rate table; if it still won't convert on a specific landing page, contact support with that page's link.
- Your currency isn't in the list (e.g. Angolan Kwanza, Guatemalan Quetzal)new currencies get added based on demand; contact support to request it and to check current availability, since the supported list changes over time.
- Dashboard/admin totals show a different currency (e.g. USD) than what a customer actually paidthis is expected — the dashboard reports in your store's base currency, while an individual order's detail view shows the currency the customer actually paid in.
- A product's displayed price and the amount actually charged at checkout don't matchcontact support immediately with the order number, as this can mean customers are being charged incorrectly.
- Want exact whole-number prices with no decimals shownthis is a separate setting from the.99 rounding toggle above: go to Store Settings → Store Details, under General settings find Price format, and choose No decimal places instead of Standard.
