How to import products by CSV or by URL
From Products → Manage Products, click Import Products and choose Import via CSV to bulk-upload a spreadsheet, or Import via URL to pull in a single product from a supported marketplace link.
Steps
- Go to Products and click the Import Products button on the product list page.
- For a bulk import: choose Import via CSV, click Download CSV template first so your columns match exactly, fill it in, then upload the file.
- For a single product: choose Import via URL, paste the product's link, and select which marketplace it's from — supported marketplaces include Shopify, Amazon, Alibaba, AliExpress, Etsy, Walmart, WooCommerce, and Shein.
- Optionally check "Notify me by email when import is complete" for URL imports.
- After importing, check All Products to confirm the new items appear, and review pricing/variants before publishing.
Common problems
- CSV shows "imported successfully" but no products appear in All Productsdouble-check your CSV matches the downloaded template's column format exactly; if it still doesn't appear, contact support with the CSV file and note that manually created products work fine, to help isolate the cause.
- CSV file won't uploadthe file must be under 10MB; larger files are rejected before the import even starts.
- Importing by URL from a store not in the supported marketplace list (e.g. a general competitor site, or another dropshipping platform) doesn't workURL import only supports the specific marketplaces listed above; for anything else, add the product manually.
- Bulk-transferring your whole existing catalog from another platform isn't availablethere's currently no one-click migration of an entire store's products into Dropify; import supported items individually via CSV or URL, or add them manually.
- Need an XML product feed link (e.g. for a TikTok catalog)this isn't available yet; this has been shared with the product team as a request.
- Using Dropify alongside Shopify and a separate product-sourcing/fulfillment servicequestions about that other service's own sync behavior (stock levels, SKUs, product IDs) should go to that service's own support, not Dropify's — Dropify support can only help with the Dropify side of your setup.
