How do I set shipping fees by zone for my store?
Go to Store Settings > Shipping Fees to create shipping zones and set the delivery cost customers pay in each one.
Steps
- Open Store Settings > Shipping Fees.
- Click Add new shipping zone and give it a name.
- Choose the countries, states/provinces, or cities this zone covers (or leave it as "Rest of world" for everywhere else).
- Open the zone and click + Add Shipping Fee Rules to add a rate: give it a name, an optional description, and a price.
- Optionally turn on Free Shipping for the zone, set an order-amount threshold, and write the message shown to shoppers at checkout (e.g. "Free shipping over $100").
- Repeat for each region you ship to. You can also Import data to create many zones at once from a CSV file (download the template first so headers/columns match).
A location can only belong to one zone — if a country/state/city is already covered elsewhere, it's locked when creating or editing another zone.
Common problems
- No shipping fee shows at checkout for a customertheir city/state/country isn't covered by any zone yet. Add it to an existing zone or create a "Rest of world" zone as a catch-all.
- CSV import fails or skips rowsthe file must match the downloadable template's headers/columns exactly; check the import status message for which rows were skipped and why.
- Free shipping threshold doesn't switch the rate to $0 as expecteddouble-check the threshold amount and currency match what the customer sees at checkout, and contact support if the checkout still charges the flat rate above your threshold.
- Deleting a zone removes all its rate rules and free-shipping settings — this can't be undone.
