Why is my dashboard paused — is it because of a negative balance?
When your store coins balance drops to -$1 or lower, dashboard access is paused until you top up — but your live storefront and landing pages stay online for customers the whole time. Set up Auto-Recharge so this doesn't catch you by surprise.
Steps
- Go to Account Settings → Coins/Balance and check your current balance.
- If it's negative, top up to bring it back above zero — dashboard access resumes as soon as the balance clears.
- To prevent this happening again, open the Auto Recharge tab and set a threshold (e.g. "when balance falls below X, recharge to Y") using a saved payment method.
- An automated email is sent the moment your account is suspended for a negative balance — check spam if you didn't see it.
Common problems
- Orders and visitor stats seem to have vanished from the dashboardthis is usually a sign your balance ran out, not a data-loss bug; log in via a browser, top up, and the dashboard should recover.
- No warning email before the dashboard pausedan automated notification is sent immediately when the balance goes negative; check spam/junk, and consider Auto-Recharge so you're not relying on catching that email in time.
- Worried customers can't buy while your dashboard is pausedthey can — the live store and landing pages keep working; only your own dashboard access locks at -$1. If the balance keeps falling without a top-up and no saved card can cover it, Dropify eventually closes the account and emails you about it, so top up before it gets that far to avoid any disruption.
