Landing page loads slowly, or ad clicks aren't converting to page views
Page speed is now optimized automatically on every landing page — there's no manual "speed up" toggle to look for. If ad clicks aren't turning into landing page views, the gap is usually in ad tracking/targeting rather than page speed itself.
Steps
- Test your own landing page's real load time by opening the published link on a phone using mobile data, not just office wifi.
- If it feels slow, check whether it's every landing page/your whole store, or just this one page, and mention that when contacting support.
- Compare your ad platform's "Link Clicks" to "Landing Page Views" (e.g. in Meta Ads Manager) — a large gap between them can also come from ad account/pixel tracking issues, not only page speed.
- Confirm your pixel is correctly installed and firing the right event (see the pixel/tracking documentation for your ad platform).
- If speed still looks fine on your end but clicks aren't converting to views, install an app like Microsoft Clarity to record real visitor sessions and see where they're dropping off.
Common problems
- Can't find a "Speed up landing page" option that used to existthis no longer needs manual configuration; performance optimization is now automatic on every landing page.
- Page speed tests report a slow scoresome testing tools simulate a throttled slow-network/slow-device connection, which can look much worse than what real visitors on 4G/5G experience; test from an actual phone on mobile data for a more realistic picture.
- Ad clicks are high but very few people reach the landing pagecontact support with the exact ad link and campaign screenshots; this has repeatedly turned out to be a page-speed or tracking issue that support can investigate and escalate.
- Page or images take a moment to appear (blank flash before the first image loads)this has been improved but can still happen on some pages; contact support with your page link if it's affecting conversions, since it's an active area of investigation rather than a one-time fix.
