Why does the Dropify app show my store as inactive when it's live?
If your store shows as "inactive" in the Dropify mobile app while it works fine in a browser, this is usually an outdated app version showing a stale status — your store itself is active. Update the app first before assuming anything is wrong with your account.
Steps
- Confirm your store is really active by opening your store's storefront link in a browser — if it loads and you can place a test order, your store and subscription are fine.
- Open the App Store or Google Play and check for a Dropify app update; install it if one is available, then reopen the app.
- If the status is still wrong after updating to the latest version, this isn't something you can fix from your store's settings — contact support with your app version and device type.
- Continue managing orders and products from your dashboard in a browser in the meantime.
Common problems
- Store shows inactive in the app even though data loads fine elsewhereupdate the app first; if it persists on the latest version, contact support rather than changing store settings.
- Worried the "inactive" status means your balance or subscription lapsedcheck your subscription status and balance from your dashboard in a browser; the app's status display is unrelated to your actual billing state.
- Re-logging in or reinstalling the app doesn't change the statustry updating to the latest app version instead; if the status still doesn't match, contact support.
