Theme edits, menu, or logo changes aren't showing on the live store
Most "changes not saving" reports come down to editing the wrong place (e.g. store settings instead of the theme's Header section) or checking the wrong variant — confirm you edited the setting that actually controls the storefront before assuming it's a bug.
Steps
- After changing a theme setting, menu, or logo, click Save and wait for confirmation before navigating away.
- Refresh the live storefront in a new tab (not just the builder preview) to check the change actually applied.
- For your store logo specifically, change it from the Header section inside Theme → Customize, not from general store/business settings — the general settings logo controls things like your favicon, not the storefront header.
- If a price or content change looks unchanged, check which product variant you're viewing on the live page — different variants can have different prices/content, so you may be comparing the wrong one.
- If a legal/static page won't save or publish, re-enter your edits and try Save again; contact support if it still doesn't stick.
Common problems
- Updated the logo and got a "successfully changed" message, but the storefront still shows the old onechange it from the Header section in the theme builder, not the general store settings page.
- Menu edit doesn't appear on the live siteresave the menu and hard-refresh the live storefront; contact support with a screenshot of the intended menu if it still doesn't update.
- Edited a price/description and saved, but the live store looks unchangedcheck you're looking at the same product variant you edited.
- Theme settings show no visible change after saving, even in previewcontact support with the store link and what setting you changed.
- Code editor shows a blank screen even though your code worksthis is a known display quirk in the custom code editor; your code can still be saved even if the editor view looks blank — verify on the live page rather than trusting the editor's appearance.
