I was charged twice, or don't recognize a Dropify charge — what do I do?
First check Account Settings → Billing History to see exactly what was charged and when. If two charges genuinely match (same amount, same day) or you don't recognize a charge at all, contact support with the details — most duplicate charges are refunded once confirmed.
Steps
- Go to Account Settings → Billing History and find the charge(s) in question.
- If you see the same amount charged twice on the same day, this is usually a duplicate — email support@dropify.shop with the account email and both charge amounts/dates.
- If a charge doesn't match anything you remember doing, check whether it was a subscription renewal (auto-renewal wasn't disabled) before assuming it's an error — see How do I cancel my Dropify subscription?.
- Once support confirms the duplicate or error, the refund is typically processed within about 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
Common problems
- Charged twice for the same top-up/subscription attemptthis can happen if a payment appeared to fail and you retried; support can confirm from Billing History and refund the extra charge(s).
- Charge doesn't match your account at allsupport checks the account email/domain against their records; if nothing matches, the charge may be from a different service — check your bank statement description and any confirmation emails for the actual merchant name.
- Refund confirmed but not received after 7+ daysthe confirmation window is business days, not calendar days (weekends don't count); if it's genuinely overdue, follow up with your bank using the transaction date.
- A family member or coworker used your card without askingstill contact support with the account email; refunds are handled the same way as any other unauthorized charge.
